He also had 7 great-grandchildren: Addy and Everly Little, Riley Williams, Jimmie Jones, Cameron and Ashton Fenstermaker, and Morgan Caton.

He was “Uncle Dick” to many nieces and nephews, and a great friend to many, including his Friendship Village family and Cracker Barrel Thursday Breakfast buddies.

All who loved him will miss his huge heart, kindness, generosity, and humor. He loved to play golf and spend time with his family.

He was a graduate of Bayless High School.  His working career was as a supervisor for Western Electric.

Richard has donated his body to science, at St. Louis University, along with being an organ donor.

There will not be a service or visitation.  A family celebration of his wonderful life will be scheduled at a later date.

  3. Oh no! My sister sent Dick’s obituary to me just today. Dick had been one of my favorite first cousins throughout my entire life. It was with such pleasure that I had the opportunity to interact with him and (earlier) with Marlene at luncheons and my too rare visits. Dick would give me a call now and then to chat. We last did so in late May.

I will sorely miss him. My condolences to Yvonne, Richard and Michael and to the grandchildren for their loss.
