In Loving Memory

Vogelweid, Andrew Joseph

Andrew Joseph Vogelweid July 9, 1975 – August 3, 2022

Andy passed away on August 3, 2022 at the age of 47.  He was the son of the late Gregory and Margaret Vogelweid.

He leaves behind a beautiful daughter, Emma Vogelweid.  His love for her is everlasting.  She brought true joy to his life and he was immensely proud of her.  He thought she was the greatest human on this earth. He looked forward to every opportunity he had to spend with her.

Andy had a calling to service and a great sense of humor.  He was generous with his time and his heart.  He enjoyed helping people and gave a hand to anyone in need. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and making memories with his daughter. He will be dearly missed by all of us.
Andy is also survived by his siblings; Matthew (Andrea) Vogelweid, Megan (Don) Bergin and his nieces Madeline, Lauren, Gabby and nephew Alex.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday September 3, 1-3 pm at Kutis Affton Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois Road., St. Louis, MO 63123

  1. Andy was a beautiful being, a beautiful man. I watched him grow up in many ways. My husband and I were friends with his parents and they were so proud of his accomplishments, and how hard he struggled. I’m heartbroken, and my deepest condolences to his family. I am so sorry.

  7. Our sweet sweet neighbor. I cannot stand to see that your car is gone. Sharing ketchup, sugar, and anything else a recipe might need. Waiting to see what you made from your mom’s old cookbook. The laughs, the sports, and everything in between. We loved having you in our building. May you be in peace. All our love to Emma. XoXo

  17. Dearest Burgun and Vogelweid families,

We will remember the laughing Andy. He helped watch our sons at times and later knew them as men. Not long ago he helped us decorate for Christmas after Bruce’s back surgery. He fought to overcome his personal demons but he loved you all and Emma dearly. Prayers for healing. May grief give way to happier memories. Love from the Bradley- McGillicks

  21. May grace in the afterlife, preserve the Andy i loved. I hate the power of alcoholism, too steal all that is worthwhile! May the good memories be present too keep the smile he always caused.
