Beloved wife for 59 years of James S. Sweeney; loving mother of Gail (Ken) Slavens, Jim (Sharon) Sweeney, Philip (Jennifer) Sweeney, Thomas Sweeney and Jennifer (Jon) Barton; cherished grandmother of Zachary, Gabriel, Genevieve, Shannon (Mike), Sydney, Sierra, Kayla,Mackenzie, Colin, Holly, Lexi, Clara, and Grace; great-grandmother of Malani; our dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend.

Cindy was an Oasis teacher for several years at SMMA, was very active in her church, was an avid artist and gardener, but above all else she cherished her family.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd, Wednesday December 7, 9:30 am to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church for 10 am Mass.  Interment J.B. National Cemetery. Masses preferred or contributions to Shriner’s Hospital appreciated. Visitation Tuesday 4 – 8 pm.
