Early Sunday, January 10th, 2021 the beloved Chloe Ann Sullivan (Stevens) passed away. Chloe was born on March 22nd, 1933 in DuQuoin, Ill where she spent her childhood years. After receiving her high school diploma she attended  De Paul Nursing school where she later received her degree in nursing in 1954. After earning her degree she obtained a nursing position (RN) allowing her to reside in Saint Louis, Missouri. She maintained this position for 50 plus years. While living in Saint Louis, Chloe met Thomas F. Sullivan. Later, on November 8th, 1958 Chloe and Thomas married. Together they raised one son, Joseph P. Sullivan. Chloe was preceded by her parents Evelyn and Charles Stevens, Tucker Stevens (brother), and Thomas F. Sullivan (husband). May they meet again. Chloe is survived by her son Joseph, nieces and nephews, and her two grandchildren Paul and Caroline. Chloe was a hardworking, generous individual who has a special place in many hearts. There is no doubt that she made a profound impact in the world, with 50 years of nursing behind her, she saved many. She is loved by many and will be missed dearly. A funeral service is being held at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Saturday, January 16th at 10 a.m. following the visitation at 9 a.m. After the funeral service, the burial will take place at Calvery Cemetery. Due to the spread of the Coronavirus, the services are being limited to the immediate family only. May you join us in spirit.
