Stewart

In Loving Memory

Stewart, Jr., Robert W. “Bob”

Stewart, Jr., Robert W. “Bob”, 64, passed away Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018. He was such a fighter but had way too many battles. He is survived by his wife of 36 years Charlotte (Ponzar) Stewart; children: Paige Boyer, Jason (Sue) Clifton, and Jonathan Bobo; grandchildren: Carson Boyer, Jake Boyer, Matthew Medcalf and Zackery Medcalf; sisters: Janet Lane and Nancy Mayor; and much loved nieces and nephews.

Bob’s working life began as a Junior High shop teacher and coach.  His working passion came about after getting his real estate license in 1976. Joining Gundaker Realtors in 1978 started a 30 year relationship that encompassed company trainer, founder of the pre-license school and Continuing Education Instructor and Manager. In 1978, Bob was appointed Branch Manager of the Crestwood/Webster Grove office. Bob said, “his proudest achievement were the agents who let him know that his teaching had helped them get a head start on a successful career.”

Bob’s big, fun loving personality reached out to friends from Affton High School, Class of ’71, Sig Tau Fraternity at SEMO, to work friends.  Bob’s special love for all the family’s babies was marvelous to see.  He was our very special “Uncle Bob.”
