  1. Bonnie and Family,

I worked with Vince in Planning and Development for many years and he was one of the nicest guys I knew. He was a great police officer, fair minded with a great sense of humor. He always talked about his family, he loved all of you so much. I know he’s in heaven and happy but he will be missed for sure.

You can take a great deal of comfort in knowing that he touched so so many lives and those he touched are better for knowing him. You and family are in my prayers.

  3. I’ll remember Vince as being one of those Officers who always seemed to be here, there, and everywhere within the department. And although I never worked for him, our paths crossed many times throughout my career, and each time I learned something from him. He was the “go-to guy” for answers in financial crimes and emergency management. Prayers for the family, and ’till we meet again Sergeant – God speed!

I am so sorry to hear of Vince’s passing. Vince truly was one of a kind and like everyone I have many incredible stories from my time with Vince. He introduced me to Emergency Management in 1995 and became my teacher, mentor, and friend through my career with the City of St. louis Emergency Management Agency and I will always be internally grateful for him. Vince lives on in many programs he helped build not only in the City of St. Louis but the entire Emergency Management Program Nationwide.
Thank you for sharing Vince with us and God bless you all in sad time.
