Beloved Husband of Patricia Steger (nee Calvert) and the late Norma Dean Duvall; Loving father of Roni Lynn Steger, Cheryl Ann Benedick, John Steger; Grandfather of Eric, Aaron, Sara, Ian Lyerla, Joshaua, Samual, Zachary Benedick, Nichole Steger, Erica Diester; Great-Grandfather of Destiny, Zeth, Zander, Aliya Lyerla, Tessa, Tanner Benedick, Corey, Bentley, Colby Diester. Beloved Son of the late John G. and Mildred (nee Guensche) Steger and personal friend to many.
Ron was Director of the Doc’s Kirkwood Harley Davidson Motorcycle Club for 3 years, with Xerox Corp 23 years, a Member of Ellisville Elks Lodge 2664, American Legion Goff Post 101 and REMEOS breakfast club.
Services: Funeral from Kutis City Chapel, 2906 Gravois, Monday, March15, 9:30 a.m. to St. John Paul II Catholic Church, 4980 Heege Rd., for 10 a.m. Mass, Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Pat, Paul was with friends this weekend and they told him that Ron had passed. He came home and told us. We are so sorry that we were not there for you.
