  1. I am very sorry to hear of Mr. Spies’ passing. My heart and prayers go out to Mrs. Spies, Joey, Angie, Mary and the rest of the family. What a great guy he was. My memories of him go back to when Angie met my brother Joe. Mr. Spies was always in his garage making or fixing something for his house or the grandkids. He was imaginative, friendly, funny and a kind soul. Rest in peace. You will be missed.

  5. Joe was a wonderful man! We always enjoyed his company when we came to St Louis. He & Tookie were such a TERRIFIC couple, and they raised 3 great kids. We’ll always remember fondly the weeks vacation we spent in MN together! RIP Joe. We love you & will miss you!!
