   Beloved husband of the late Delores Spies; dear brother of Mary Ann (Jack) Dillon and the late Bob (survived by Marvis), Loretta Smith, Norman, Dorothy Tinker, Leonard, Vernon, Raymond (survived by Bonnie) and Jerome (survived by Lois) Spies; our dear step-father,  uncle, great-uncle and cousin.

  He was a gem, he never met a stranger and he always loved to talk.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS  AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, on Friday, October 7, 10:15 a.m. to St. Joan of Arc Church for 11 a.m. Mass. Interment National Cemetery. Contributions to Wounded  Warriors appreciated. Visitation  Thursday, 4-8 p.m.
