Simms, Elizabeth Marie “Betty” (nee Casey) entered into rest on Sunday, January 15, 2023. Loving mother of Stephen (Jeannie Cheng) Simms, Jr., Timothy Simms, Michael (Danielle) Simms; cherished grandma of Brandon Cheng, Michael J. Simms, Katelin Simms, Madelin Simms, Alexis Simms and Bailey Simms; dearest sister of JoAnn (the late Bill) Horvath, Danny (Sue) Casey and the late Teddy (Survived by Darlene) Casey; treasured aunt to many nieces and nephews and great friend to many.

Betty was a proud Girl Scout leader and a member of the Red Hat Society. She is gone…but never forgotten.

Funeral at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd on Friday, January 20, 10:30 a.m. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation, Thursday, 4-8 p.m.

  1. Mike, Stephen, Timmy and grandkids; I’m so sorry for your loss! Your mom was such a sweet lady. I’ll always remember the first time your Dad brought her to our house in Cape. We were so tickled to meet her. My mom and us girls thought alot of your dad, so anyone special to him was special to us. Big hugs cousins and prayers for comfort and peace.
