Schimmelpfennig, Francis “Frank” Justin

Schimmelpfennig, Francis “Frank” Justin 89, of St. Louis, MO passed away September 1, 2017 at St.

Anthony’s Hospital. He is the son of the late Francis and Anna Schimmelpfennig.  He is preceded in death by his sisters Anna Schimmelpfennig, Rosemary Huitt and Marie Parkinson.

During World War II he served in the U.S. Army while stationed in Italy. Frank volunteered throughout his life for the order of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.  He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Glenda Schimmelpfennig (nee White); daughter, Julia Schimmelpfennig; son-in-law, Joe Barnard; two grandchildren Sydney and Justin; and three nieces Jean Irving, Mary Lou Starnater, and Ann Garcia.

Services: Private funeral service and interment are planned for immediate family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Congregation of the Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters (Pink Sisters), Mount Grace Convent, PO Box 16459, St. Louis, MO, 63125, 314-381-5686.
