In Loving Memory

Schaeffer, Timothy John

Suddenly on Monday, October 19, 2020.

Beloved Husband of Jennifer Schaeffer (nee Shaffer); loving father of Max, Abigail and Tyler Schaeffer; cherished son of Carol and the late Richard Schaeffer; dear brother of Richard “Rick” (fiance Gina Donato) Schaeffer, Michelle (John) Burke and the late Lisa (surviving Mike) Vienhage. Our dearest nephew, uncle, brother-in-law, cousin and friend to many.

Timothy John was a righteous upright man who had a huge heart and loved many and loved well.

“Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully. He will receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob. Selah”    Psalm 24:3-6 ESV

Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Rd. 63123 on Monday, October 26 from 4-8 pm., then on Tuesday, October 27 at Central Presbyterian Church (7700 Davis Drive  Clayton, Mo. 63105)  from 9:00-11:00 am. 33. My deepest sympathy to the entire Schaeffer family as well as his close friends. He was a great man – always with a great smile and warm greeting. I was always amazed at how many people he knew in the St. Louis area. Anytime we went to a ballgame or hockey game, out to dinner or some other event we always seemed to run into someone that he knew – sometimes more than one person at each event. He was truly loved and respected by many. He will be truly missed. May your family find the peace that only the Prince of Peace can provide at this time.

  47. I did not have the opportunity to work with Tim closely but am part of the industry and had the great fortune to chat from time to time. Tim was such a kind person always ready with a smile and genuine want to learn about who you were and what you were up to. People were naturally drawn to him as a person not a business associate. He brought joy to every conversation, and he loved talking about his family which he did with pride. I always enjoyed getting to see him and catch up. He will be sorely missed by all.

Sending love, light and healing to Tim’s family as they navigate this terrible loss.

Everyone’s heart breaks to watch you endure this pain- but our Lord must have needed the bright smile and loving spirit of another one of his beautiful Schaeffer children. Please feel my love from Chicago and know that my prayers will continue to include your amazing family. You are stronger than most and I pray you can cherish the memories and feel the presence of Tim, (and of course Lisa and Mr. Schaeff)

  111. Tim was a great person, always spoke about how much he loved Max, Abigail and Tyler, that family time was paramount to his happiness and that he was blessed to have a partner like Jenny. He made an impression on me in our industry as someone who cared, treated people well and earned the respect of so many – he will be truly missed. God bless his family during this difficult time.
