In Loving Memory

Salama, Hani R.

We are heartbroken to announce the death of Hani Rady Salama. He passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022, in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 71.

Hani was born to Samieh and Rady Salama near Nazareth. He immigrated to the United States in 1972 where he first made a life for himself in Kearney, Nebraska and later established a home for him and his family in St. Louis, Missouri. Hani was a beloved husband who was married for 35 years and a father to three daughters, Christina, Catrina and Maisoon. He also had two grandchildren, Desmond Grman and Bella Federko.

Hani was a true provider and role model to his family and friends. He lived a life full of adventure, determination and happiness. Hani will be remembered as a dependable, kind, honest, hard-working man, dedicated to those he loved. Hani had a passion for helping others and will be remembered for his strength and generosity. Despite battling cancer for 25 years, his courage to be positive for his family and friends was admirable and his friendly demeanor was contagious.

If you would like to make donations, please send to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society lls.org and donate in Hani’s name to help others now and in the future who are fighting CLL or similar cancers.
