Raymond J. Menendez

Raymond J. Menendez went to his heavenly home on February 3, 2019 in St. Louis, Missouri after a short illness.  A visitation will be held this Tuesday February 5, 2019 at Kutis Funeral Home 5255 Lemay Ferry Road in St. Louis from 4-8pm.   A memorial service will be held at Kutis Funeral Home at 10:00 am on Wednesday February 6, 2019.

Raymond was born in St. Louis on March 31, 1941 to Frank and Aurora Menendez.  He attended Cleveland High School and was a member of ΔΞK fraternity where he met many lifelong friends.  He spent 40 years working in the automobile industry.  For most of his career, he worked at Bommarito Automotive Group where he held many positions including General Manager before his retirement.   He leaves behind his lovely wife of 53 years (Martha) Sue Menendez, nee Wedemeyer,  and two children, Michael Menendez (Tricia) and Jill Christ (Jason).  They were also blessed with 5 grandchildren:  Dominic Menendez, Hannah Christ, Brandon Christ, Cameron Menendez, and Ethan Menendez.

Services; A memorial service will be held at Kutis So Co. on Wednesday February 6th, at 10AM. Inurnment at Mt. Hope cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be in Raymond’s name to St. John’s Lutheran Church Arnold, Missouri. Visitation on Tuesday 4-8PM
