In Loving Memory

Meyer, Martin F. “Marty”

Beloved husband of Diana Murphy Meyer. Dear father to Krystal (Chris) Wygas, Julie (Jason) Weldele and Amanda Meyer. Dear PaPa to Carson and Katy Wygas and Georgia Weldele. Dear brother to Sherry (Rick) Scott, and brother-in-law to Debbie Murphy and Steve Murphy, dear nephew to Dot Reckenberg and Norman Franck, cousin and friend to many.

Marty owned his own construction company until he was physically unable to work anymore, retired from The Missouri National Guard after over 25 years of service, and was a life long Cardinals baseball fan who held season tickets for years. He always entertained a crowd with his great sense of humor and love of whistling his signature cardinal bird call. Marty enjoyed family vacations–his favorites being the ones that included his three girls, playing cards, game nights, and fast cars.  He cherished his time with his kids, grandchildren, family and friends.

Visitation will be at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois, St. Louis, on Tuesday, August 6, 4-8 p.m. A service will be held on Wednesday, August 7; 9:30 a.m. at Greentree Community Church, 100 Kirkwood Place, Kirkwood, MO 63122, with Interment at Jefferson Baracks National Cemetery.
