Wife of the late James Paul Melton; dearest mother of Cody Melton; longtime companion of Jeff Usselton; daughter of the late James and Antonina Ramsey; dear sister of Ben Kotyla, Larry Ramsey, Doris Delarber and the late Alvin Kotyla, Henry Kotyla and Ronnie Ramsey; our dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend.
SERVICES: Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road on Wednesday, January 19, 4PM until time of funeral at 7PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society appreciated.

Janis and I worked together over 10 years ago and lost touch. One day I was scrolling through face book and there she was. After connecting on face book, we were able to pick up where we left off at (10 years). She was the kind of person that cared about people no matter who you were. Because of who she was you couldn’t help but want to be friends with her. I am going to miss you dearly my friend.
