McMillan, Thomas M.

Fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church Monday, September 28, 2020.

Tom was born in Uddingston, Scotland and joined the Royal Air Force. After his service, he came to the United States and joined family in Connecticut. Shortly after, he joined the United States Air Force. During that time, he met Mary Ann (Poldan), got married, and settled in St. Louis. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Ann, of 64 years. He is the dear father of Mary (Eric) Swanson and Cathy (Jeff) Sickels. Tom is the cherished grandpa of Alisa and Amy Liggett, Emma and Molly Irvin, and Kaylee and Jack Sickels, and the adored great-grandpa and pawpaw to Federko Farmer Jr. He is also the special giver of treats to Louden, Gracie, Morticia, and Wednesday. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Elizabeth McMillan, his son, Thomas McCann McMillan Jr., his brother, Hugh McMillan, and his sister, Anna McDonald (McMillan). He is a dear brother-in-law, uncle, and friend.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Down Syndrome Guild of Kansas City or the charity of your choice are appreciated.

Memorial visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois Rd., Tuesday, November 24, 10:00 am to 11:15 am then taken to Seven Holy Founders for 11:30 am Mass. Interment J.B. National Cemetery.
