Deb-McAfee

In Loving Memory

McAfee, Deborah Lynn

Deborah “Debbie” Lynn McAfee born on April 2, 1958 passed away on May 14, 2022.

Debbie’s life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceeds the quantity of time she spent on earth. Debbie’s husband, dogs, family and friends were who she cherished the most. She enjoyed family gatherings, hanging out with her VFW friends, playing “Show Me The Money” and spending copious amounts of time with her grand kids. Debbie was loved by everyone who knew her. She had a smile that would light up the room. To know Debbie is to love Debbie, she never met a stranger. She was, is and always will be amazing. God blessed us with her because he knew that through her we’d see him. Her kindness, warmth and generosity of spirit touched everyone she knew. This is why we struggle to let her go.

Debbie was predeceased by her parents: Gary & Shirly Rosenauer (nee McCann), her brother Aaron W. Ames and her fur babies Gizmo & Pepper. She is survived by her husband Terry L. McAfee, 4 children: Stephanie Ward, Doyle (Amanda) Ward, Cassandra (Kenneth) Mendonsa & Kyle McAfee, 18 grandchildren: Jordann (Wayde), Alexis, Kaleb, Ava, Ella, Brianna, Isabella, Lucas, Kiernan, Ellyanna, Nik, Allysa, Jack, Lydia, Logan, Kate & Kamiko, 2 great grandsons: Camden Lee & Adrian, 2 fur babies: Teddy & Harley, 2 sisters: Kimberly (Dan) Dyer, Caren (Mark) Mendonsa, 1 brother: John Rosenauer.  She also leaves behind an endless amount of family & friends.

Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road Friday, May 20, 4 to 8 pm. Service Saturday 12 pm, concludes at funeral home.

  23. You made me feel so welcome and special during my childhood when I didn’t have a lot of support. You were the best godmother I could ever ask for. You were always so supportive and kind and I am so glad we were able to bond the ways we did. I’ll miss our dancing, hugs and kisses on the cheek. If anyone taught me absolute kindness and indiscriminate acceptance. I love you and I will miss you so much.

  27. I remember meeting Debbie at the VFW. From the first time we met she always made me feel welcome. I met her just after losing my husband and we were friends that loved each other. She always had such a beautiful smile and always told you each time you left to come and give her a hug. She would say I love you and she really meant it from her heart. I’m so glad she was in my life. Miss you Deb.

I’ve known you since childhood, I’ve known you through adult hood.
There is truly a special bond between sister’s . We were sister’s three now there are only sister’s two. It’s so very heart breaking that you had to leave but your no longer suffering and that I am at peace with. It doesn’t make the pain go away or the broken heart. You have so so many people that love you and miss you. So sister this isn’t really good bye it’s just until we meet again. Say hi to the family. I love you and miss you
