  1. It is with heartfelt sympathy to Paul’s family that I write these words of sadness and joy. Paul was quite a gentleman, kind and liked to laugh and joke with the caregivers. He will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers will be with the family in the months ahead. God rest his soul.

  11. Greg, Ron, Lynn and Donna, Our deepest sympathies on your father’s passing.
Annette said the picture above is how we always think of Uncle Paul, and always will.
He had that great Mattli smile and was always generous with it.
One funny memory is Grandma Mattli telling we grandkids the Uncle Paul always used his shirt sleeves to wipe his nose as a child. Can’t you see the mischievous smile on his face when she scolded him.
You are all in our prayers.

  15. Dad,
As we said goodbye to you today I realized it was final when I listened as taps were played at your grave site. I will cherish the laughs and great times we shared in the 20+ years I knew you. You accepted me and my sons, their wives and grandchildren and treated all of us as we were your own. The family you leave behind is a testament to who you are, a loving, caring, and funny family man who was a great husband, father, grandpa and great grandpa to everyone. You weren’t just my current father in law, YOU WERE THE BEST!!! You made a difference in our lives.

    Love Terry
