Lombardo, Michael A.

89, entered his eternal reward on Saturday morning, April 1, 2017.

Cherished husband of the late Avis Lombardo (nee McFarling) of 52 years and  beloved father to Chad Lombardo, Kyle Lombardo, and Faraby Reis (Curtis); grandfather to  Katie, Vince, Lindsay, Angela,  Augie, Evelyn, Elora, and Emilia. Great-grandfather to Luca, Nina, Jonah, Leo, Celia, Stephen, and Ellie. Mike was the son of the late Annie and Gus Lombardo;  siblings, Rose, Tony, Marie, and Gus.

A graduate of the Missouri Military Academy, Mike enlisted in the US Navy and proudly served during WWII. Mike was an icon in the food industry as he made his career and life in the wholesale fruit and produce business. He was a Fourth Degree in the Knights of Columbus, Past National President of the Traveler’s Protective Association, and a member of Chefs de Cuisine and UNICO.

Services: Visitation Wednesday, April 5, 4-8 p.m. at Kutis Funeral Home Affton at 10151 Gravois; Funeral Mass Thursday, April 6 at Our Lady of Providence Catholic Church 8874 Pardee Rd 63123, Mass 10:00 a.m.[]
