Lohmann, Friedrich Wilhelm “Willi”

82, of Naples, Florida, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2017.  He was born in Otter, Germany, on March 16, 1935, to the late Fritz and Dora (Marquardt) Lohmann and emigrated to the U.S. in 1956 eventually settling in St. Louis, Missouri, where he  initially continued his work in the trades as a brick layer, and then becoming a successful automobile salesman for nearly 40 years.  He was preceded in death by his spouse Rosalie (Gillardi) Lohmann, his former spouse Dolores (Schulze) Lohmann, and his nephew in Germany.  He is survived by his brother Heinrich (Magdalena) Lohmann, of Otter, Germany, sons William (Miriam) Lohmann of Portland, Oregon, Richard (Kathleen) Lohmann of O’Fallon, Missouri, Heinrich (Tracey) Lohmann, of St. Louis,  Missouri, and Peter (Haley) Lohmann of Virginia Beach, Virginia, his grandchildren, Abigail (Mike) Lee, Erich Lohmann, and  expectant granddaughter Cora Lohmann, stepsons Fred (Kathy) Marquart of Antonia, Missouri, Greg Marquart of Wentzville, Missouri, and step-daughter Jill Cummins of O’Fallon, Missouri, step-niece Mary Beth (Pat) Clary of Naples, Florida, nieces in Germany, and step-nieces and nephews, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Services: Funeral Arrangements: There will be a visitation on August 10, 2017 from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the  Kutis Funeral Home, Affton Chapel, on Gravois Road in St. Louis, Missouri.  Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park in St. Louis, Missouri.
