  1. Marie was a wonderful person. Married to my first cousin Jack, I never looked at her as my cousin’s wife. She was as much of a blood relative to me as Jack was. We didn’t get to see her and Jack and the family very often being as we live in Louisiana, but at the times we did, it was always a great visit. She and my mom, Janet, shared a closed relationship probably because of their Italian blood. Marie only always had good things to say about people and boy what a cook. A long time ago, I expressed a fondness for her spaghetti and meatballs. So, whenever we were in the same company after that, she always made it a point to make that dish. That’s the kind of person she was.

We’ll say goodbye from this mortal world for now Marie. I know you and Jack are back together once more. We’ll see you again one day in God’s kingdom.
