  1. David will be greatly missed. He was always Karen’s support and came with her to all of our meetings. He didn’t say much but we all were grateful for how far he would travel to help Karen with supply donations. I also enjoyed living vicariously through Karen and David’s travels

  3. Dear Karen, John, Beth and Grandchildren,

I know that your hearts are broken, but we will all keep David within our hearts forever. Our memories of him are our treasures!

He truly will be missed by anyone who ever had the pleasure to meet him, work with him, travel with him, dance with him, ski or laugh with him!

When I watch the Cardinals on TV, I always think of David watching too. I sat with him more than once watching the ballgames!

He was a terrific husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. So much fun, so interesting, smart and strong. Great sense of humor always!

He was a rare man with goodness and kindness, and always giving of himself.

Hold your memories in your hearts as you navigate this sad time. I wish I could be in St. Louis to hug all of you.

    Love and hugs,

  5. Dear Karen,

Please accept Maureen and my deepest condolences. You and David had a very full life together to cherish, and I hope those happy memories help cushion the devastating loss. We were happy to have you as Aspenhof neighbors, and we will miss him.

  7. Very sad and difficult to imagine that David has left this place to be with so many others who have known him for so many years. Although Merle and I were only with him and et al for short periods of time, he has simply followed on a better “Go Ahead Vacation” and will live in immortality. God Bless you Karen.
