Kremer, Susan Elizabeth (nee Albietz)

78, died peacefully at her home on 31 AUGUST.  Her mass of Christian burial will be at Mary, Mother of the Church on Kerth Road in St Louis on  7 SEPTEMBER AT 10:30.

Born on April 19, 1943 in Saint Louis, Missouri to Emil and Dorothy Albietz. She was married to Kenneth Kremer for 54 years. They built a life together surrounded by family and friends in St  Louis. When they retired, they split their time between St Louis and Tangerine Woods in Englewood, Florida. She enjoyed taking advantage of the friendships and activities in Florida.

Throughout her life she was passionate about music. She began teaching piano at the age of 13 and carried this tradition until months before her death. She graduated from Webster University with a BA in Music and Primary Education in 1965. She was a member of various choirs and music groups. She also enjoyed gardening and was a local St Louis celebrity for her and Ken’s work with irises.

Sue was a caregiver and helper and volunteered with various charities and organizations. She was an advocate for the less fortunate be they people or animals. She will be remembered for her kindness, humor and her compassion.

She is survived by her husband Kenneth, her brother Charles, her two sons Dan and Mark and her four grandchildren, Cassandra (Cassie), Eric, Maria and Teresa.

The family is asking that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Salesian Missions. The family would like to thank everyone who visited and called during her last days. She felt very blessed by your love and support. A service of KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL.

  1. Ken and family I send my condolences with the lost of a very lovely lady. Sue fought a very hard battle like a true trouper and knew it was time to go home to the Lord, she is in my prayers. God has a special angel. Rest in Peace Sue.
