Karnes, Thomas Eugene

Passed away on Friday , the 29th of January 2021 at St Clare Hospital in Fenton Missouri.

Tom was born on September 1st, 1944 in Edgerton, Ohio. He was the son of Raymond and Ethel (Baker) Karnes. In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by his brothers Adam Case Karnes and Terry Woodruff, sisters Pauline Hug and Elma Burbank, half-brother Anthony Hug, his beloved daughter Tasha and great grand daughter Kinley Flower.

 

Tom is survived by his beloved wife Patsy Karnes (Simpson). sister Muryel Stark, his half brothers brothers and sisters Joseph Hug, Jerry Hug and Phillip Hug, and Vicky Mays.

Children Tom (Teresa) Karnes, Terry (Cheryl) Karnes, Ted (Michelle) Karnes, and Jessie (Jason) Williams, 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and stepson Steven Church.

Tom is a beloved uncle, brother in law, cousin and friend.

 

Tom graduated from Edgerton HS class of 1962. He was a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He retired with 30+ years from BF Goodrich, Woodburn, IN.

 

In addition to his family, and friends. Tom loved his dogs, Abby, Bandit and Auzzie, “his Chicago Bears”, hIs own Chicago Bear mascot “George”, Bowling, excelled as a Bowler with two 300 games, Baseball, Golf, Chess, Classic Westerns, “Dungeons & Dragons”, and Star Wars, Tom was thrilled to recently binge watch  “The Mandaaorian” on Disney Plus with Luke Skywalker making his “real return”.

 

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held at: In St Louis: Kutis Funeral Home (Affton)10151 Gravois Rd in Affton Missouri 63123

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 5th from 4:00 pm to 8:00pm.

Service will be held on Saturday February 6, at 10:00 am.

 

In Bryan Ohio:

Monday February 8, 2021 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm

Celebration of Life will be held at:
