JAMES M. PRESTON

James Maurer Preston was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on October 30, 1949 and lost his strongly fought battle against cancer on March 1, 2017.

Jim is survived by his wife of 44 years, Gale; his daughters, Lynn Schuman and Laura Roth; his sons-in-law, William Schuman and Edward Roth; and his grandchildren, Billy and Olivia Schuman, and Gavin and Dylan Roth.  He- was a brother, brother-in-law, and uncle.

Jim was an Eagle Scout, an Air Force veteran, a police officer for 8 years and a 25 year employee of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 10th, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Sunset 44 Banquet Center, 118 W. Adams Ave., Kirkwood, MO 63122.  All are welcome to attend and encouraged to share their best Jim story or propose a toast to a special man.
