Beloved husband of Jane A. Hinkebein (nee Coomes) of 59 1/2 years; dearest father of Mark (Heather) and Steve (Lisa) Hinkebein; dear grandpa of Lucas, Grace, Jack, Sophia, Nicholas and Sarah Hinkebein; brother of Eileen (Stan) Bytnar, the late Thomas, Robert (Nancy) Hinkebein and MaryAnn (survived by Lin) Cooper; brother-in-law of Tom (Melinda) Coomes, Marty (Brent) Gill, the late Mike (survived by Rose) Coomes and Mary (Richard) Roth; our dear uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Willie was a proud St. Louis City Police Officer.

Funeral Friday, February 3, 9:30 a.m. from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd. to St. Raphael Church, 6047 Bishops Place for a 10:00 a.m. Mass.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to Backstoppers.  Visitation Thursday 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.

    So sorry for your loss. Bill was quite a character and I very much enjoyed his company. I will miss him but remember fondly the great times we had out at our clubhouse on the river with the old Troop 51 gang.
