  1. Johnny was my cousin. During my childhood, my mother, brother and I would travel by train from Miami, Fla to St. Louis to visit family. It was always fun to be with our cousins. We went to Forest Park, had boat trips on the Admiral and gatherings at family homes.
Prayers for and to you, Johnny.

  3. John was a Franciscan Brother in Eureka, Mo and then transferred to the Franciscan Friars in St. Louis and studied with the Franciscans for the Priesthood at St. Louis University School of Divinity in the mid 1970’s. He was then known as Alphonse. I lived with and went to school with John for 3 years. He lived here at St Anthony’s and LOVED to chase the fire trucks that would roar up Compton hour after hour. He was a gentle soul and a good man. I just found out that John died…wish I had known earlier–I would have gone to his funeral.
