Grigaitis, Virginia E. “Jen” fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at the age of 96.

Beloved wife of 70 years to Edward J. Grigaitis (deceased); loving mother of Cheryl (Laurence) Perlstein, Denise (J. Randolph) Dumas, Maralin (Jim) Fredericks, and the late infant Michael E. Grigaitis; loving Nana of Jon Perlstein, Deborah (Michael) Hewitt, Aaron (Lindsey) Perlstein, Adrienne (Arne) Everwijn, and Jaimeson Fredericks; adoring Great Nana to Charlie, Daniel, Augusta, and Beatrix; dear sister of Idamae Spellman (deceased); dear Aunt Jen and Aunt Ginny to many nieces and nephews. Friend to many.

Virginia was a Special School secretary for over 20 years; devout Catholic; Girl Scout leader; C.Y.C. Social Director; strong supporter and volunteer of charitable causes including Ronald McDonald House and the U.S.O.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Monday, March 7, 11 a.m. to Assumption Catholic Church, 4725 Mattis Rd. for 11:30 a.m. Mass. Interment at National Cemetery. Memorials to USO of Missouri, Inc., Attn: Donations In Honor of Virginia Grigaitis, P.O. Box 10367, 10701 Lambert International Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63145 or at usostl.org/donations. Visitation Sunday, 4-8 p.m.
