Age 83, Thursday, September 17, 2020. His cherished wife Peggy Gorden (nee Doom) was at his side after a 6 month battle with leukemia. Beloved father of Karen (Brian) Groppe; loving grandfather of Kevin and Natalie (fiancé Branden Jacob) Groppe; dear son-in-law, brother-in-law and respected friend to many.

Bill retired from Ameren. He was the business rep for IBEW Local 1455 and an avid golfer.

Services: Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., Sunday, September 20, 4-8 p.m.  Services private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation or a charity of your choice.
