Beloved husband for 69 years of Shirley Gaertner (nee Colley); loving father of Nancy (Larry) Simpson, Terri (Jim) Diekmann and Pam (Mark) Siddle; dear grandfather of Chris (Emma),  Matt and Scott (Tara) Simpson, Jamie (Tim) Angelo-Allmeyer, Nick (Christy) Angelo, Alex Diekmann, Logan (Justin) Montgomery and Cheyenne Siddle; dear great-grandfather of Vivian, Levi, Oliver and Madeline Simpson, Taiylor and Lexie Reith, Vinny Angelo and Gabriel Montgomery.

Services: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL 10151 Gravois, Monday July 26, 10:30 AM until services at 11:30 AM. Interment JB National Cemetery. Memorials to Alzheimer’s Association, American Cancer Society, St Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Wounded Warrior Project appreciated.

  5. Don was a great neighbor and friend. My heart goes out to you and my prayers are with you and the family. He will be greatly missed. He was a loving caring and compassionate man. Willing to help anyone. Gods arms were open wide to greet him home.
