Fiordimondo; loving mother of Joann (George) Baker, Nat (Melinda), Pete (Patti), Josephine Marshall, Anna Simon, Joseph (Diana) and Fred (Cindy) Fiordimondo; adoring grandmother of Max, Zachary, Angela, Elizabeth, Philip, Vincent, Mia, Julia and the late Michael. Our dearest great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Pearl was a member of the St. John the Baptist Lady Sodality. She was also a longtime and dedicated volunteer at Holy Family Catholic School.
Services: Funeral from Kutis City Chapel, 2906 Gravois, on Wednesday, November 25 at 9: 30 a.m. to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Missouri Chapter appreciated. Visitation Tuesday 4- 8 p.m.

I am so very sorry for your loss! Your mother was a friend and neighbor of my aunt, Laverne Mechler back in the day. She regarded your mother as a great friend who also generously taught her how to cook Italian food! I will pass this on to my Mechler cousins who you might remember.

Pearl has been my teacher, my mentor, my role model and my best friend all rolled into one marvelous lady. We haven’t seen each other for quite a while, but I always knew she was there & that she was well loved and cared for by her family. I will miss her.

Pearl was a wonderful mother in law and grandmother to my kids. If not for her generosity and love of Zack and Angie, and after school care, I would never have been able to finish college. She taught me how to cook and be a mother. I am comforted to know that at long last Joe has Pearl back in his arms again. She was blessed to have such a great family, who loved her dearly and will miss her terribly.
