Efken, Robert G. “Shorty” entered into rest on Saturday, October 9, 2021. Beloved father of Robert S. (Susan) Efken, Tanya (Drew) Griffin and Rebecca  (David) Dillard; cherished grandpa of Caleb, Lucas, Jackson, Beckett, Jaden, Addison and Kamryn: son of the late William and Dolores Efken; dearest brother of Kathy (Tom) Chamberlain, Christine, and Gary (the late Gwen) Efken; our dear uncle, cousin and devoted friend to many.

Memorial Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., on Saturday, October 30, from 2 p.m. until time of service 4 p.m. with all services concluding at Kutis. In lieu of flowers donations to  Cardinals Care 700 Clark Street, St Louis, Mo 63102 greatly appreciated.

  7. I will definitely miss Shorty’s one-of-a-kind sense of humor. He was a cherished friend and coworker. I already miss talking with him about our shared enjoyment of John Wayne movies. The next time my friends and I get together, our glasses will be raised in Shorty’s memory.
