Ronald Eugene Drennen, Jr, nicknames Ronnie and Cooter, 41yrs old June 17th, 2022 at Mercy South Hospital. Husband of Julia Drennen (Yount), they share 19 yrs 6 months together.

Son of Ronald Eugene Drennen, Sr and Barbara Kay Drennen (Newton), born in St. Louis, Mo February 21st 1981 Grandview High School, earned: a Diploma, Certificate in Metal Fabrication

*Marine Corp education, earned: Sgt Non-Resident Program, Basic Automotive Mechanic,  Marine Combat Training, Recruit Training *Vatterott, earned a HVAC Certificate

 

Marine Corps (2002-2006) Combat Veteran 2 tours, earned: Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal; Combat Action Ribbon: Iraq; Iraq Campaign Medal: Iraq; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Sea Service Deployment Ribbon(2); Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal: Iraq; National Defense Service Medal; Presidential Unit Citation, Certificate of Commendation(3); Letter of Appreciation(4); Letter of Commendation; Meritorious Mast; Rifle Marksmanship Badge; Certificate of Appreciation; Member participated in Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom

Ronnie is a Family man 1st, President of UAMA (Union Alliance Motorcycle Association(one of the 1st 7 Original Local 5)), volunteer member of Focus Marine, member of VFW Cedar Hill, and a Transplant Organ Donor that is continuing giving. He has a very loving big heart and would drop everything to help another person, no matter what they needed he’d be there. To know him is to call him a friend and loved by many. He enjoyed spending time with his family, riding motorcycles, as well as working on anything that had a motor (especially motorcycles). He called his home garage COOTER’s Cycle Shack and would drop everything to go pick up a bike in need; he was damn good at it!

Ronald is survived by his: wife Julia Drennen (Yount) Hillsboro Missouri; Children: daughter Faith Marie Drennen Redford Missouri, son Aaron Michael Drennen House Springs Missouri, son Kody Sebastian Drennen Hillsboro Missouri; Grandchild: Kayleigh Aspenwall; Siblings: sister Barb’Bobbi’ (Chris) Drennen-Walgren House Springs Missouri, sister Rhonda (David) Drennen-Hobbs House Springs Missouri, sister Nita Eggers Robertsville Missouri, brother Rodney (Kristie) Galey High Ridge Missouri, brother/Marine brother Aaron (Nancy) Galey Edmond Oklahoma, Marine brother Matt Cooper Hillsboro Missouri; Nieces & Nephews: niece Samantha (Kyle) Eggers-Pizzo, niece Kalie (Brandon) Hobbs-Threadgill, niece Ryann Walgren, nephew Drennen C Walgren, niece Kaylin Galey, niece Kylie Galey, niece Courtney Galey, niece Bailey Galey; Great Niece and Nephew: Kinley Threadgill, Easton Threadgill
