Clifford Edward Doetzel, Jr. passed peacefully into eternal rest on Friday, July 29, 2022 at the age of 88. He was a proud Navy Veteran who is survived by his wife of 60 years Sharon (nee Shannon). He was a loving father to Laura Doetzel Hanson, David (Carey) Doetzel, Dan Doetzel and the late Clifford Doetzel III; a dear brother to the late Linda Harris (Tom) and beloved Paw Paw to 8 loving grandchildren – Jessica Brown (Jake), Rachel Hanson, Joseph Hanson, Haley Doetzel, Gabrielle Doetzel, Alec Doetzel, Camryn Doetzel and Jackson Doetzel.
Cliff was a dear brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. He loved playing practical jokes, buying and selling cars and spending time with his buddies at the Elks Club or at a local watering hole on Saturday afternoons. He was a gleeful tease and notoriously frugal – but he was always and unapologetically Cliff, and will be missed by all!!
Services at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. are as follows: Visitation is Wednesday August 3rd from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A chapel service will be held at 1:00 pm followed shortly after by a military burial service at Jefferson Barracks.

passed..
I am so sorry to hear this. My heart is breaking for each of you. I have great memories of the times we had with Cliff and his family.
Dan & Sharon,
I am so sorry to hear of Cliffy’s passing. He was such a character and although I only got to spend a limited time with him, he definitely added so much joy to my life. I’ve thought of him often and our daily chats when he’d call the office and those calls would be so fun and make a work day so much better. Thank you Dan for sharing your mom and dad with me at a time when I had just lost my dad. Cliff would call and check in on me and ask me about Henry’s intentions. My heart is broken because he truly had a piece in it.
Henry and I are praying for you Boss and your family. Hug your mom from me and I wish I could hug you too! God Bless.
Sincere sympathy to Sharon and family on this very sad news. May you find peace in your wonderful memories of Cliff.
I will forever remember Mr.Doetzel as one of the happiest, friendliest people you will ever meet. He always wanted to make you laugh. You will be missed by myself, my father your good buddy Jim and the rest of the Drabant family! ! RIP Mr.Doetzel!
