  1. She was my dear aunt, my godmother, and my confidante. I used to love the times we visited together. As a child I would listen to the rich stories that she and my mom would tell over lunch or an iced tea.

She loved her family so dearly. She was so very proud of her children and their accomplishments. I recall how excited she was to be a grandmother and off-the-charts elated to learn she would be a great grandmother.

We spent many hours on the phone in most recent years, laughing, crying, and simply sharing our life experiences.
Each time I spent with her was precious to me. I will remember her laugh, her ambition, and her will to remain independent until her time came.

You will always be in my heart, Aunt Jackie.

Your chair on my back patio will always be ready for your next visit.
I love you and know you are now at peace and home with Uncle Jack.

  11. We will miss our Aunt Jackie’s weekly phone conversations. We laughed at life, ourselves and just because it was a good day to talk. We shared so many stories… oh how she loved her family! The angels are so lucky! We will both miss her dearly…
