In Loving Memory

Gulath, Charles F.

81, died peacefully on June 3, 2017 after a long and valiant fight against Alzheimer’s Disease.

Charlie was a devoted family man and lifelong Christ follower. Nothing was more important to him in life than his faith in God and his family: his wife of 52 years, Sally Gulath; his children Jane, Joan, and Mark; his grandchildren Morgan, Sydney, Dylan, Sophia, Jacob, Ethan, and Elliot. He was an incredible brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, and friend.

Charlie grew up in St. Louis and graduated from Bayless High School. He was an avid bowler in his youth and loved working on cars and fixing things.

Nothing can compare to the love Charlie had for his family, but if anything could come close, it was his beloved baseball Cardinals. He was also a huge fan and lover of the St. Louis Blues.

Charlie inspired many lives as a youth minister. One of biggest impacts he had on this world involves the countless young lives he touched, and the people he helped and lead on their spiritual journeys to Christ.

Although Charlie will be dearly missed on this earth, he is now at peace with the Lord. And heaven is a little bit brighter today.

Visitation on Thursday, June 8 from 4-7:30, with a time for Remembrance at 7:00, at Kutis Funeral Home in Affton, 10151 Gravois Road.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, in honor of our family’s team, Charlie’s Champions. www.alz.org/stl/in_my_community_donate.asp
