In Loving Memory

Busse, Julie Ann

“Julie Ann Busse, a soul so bright the sun searched for shade, passed peacefully in her home on May 7, 2022, at the age of 56.

Beloved mother of Nick and Erin Busse; aunt and cherished treasure of Alyssa Simmerock; grandmother of Otto Busse, Greta Busse, and Rowan Nizick; aunt of Lindsay Brummett, Klayton Eaton, Brooklynn Eaton, and Dylan Eaton; sibling of the late Michelle Brummett and of John Eaton; daughter of the late William Eaton and the late Jean Eaton; mother-in-law to Jaclyn Busse. Friend to all.

Julie will be remembered for her laughter, her passionate spirit, and her fun loving nature. Julie loved flowers and glitter, happy hours with her friends, and late night true-crime binges with anyone who would watch with her. Julie’s beauty knew no bounds, inside and out, she used her spirit to shine on every soul she encountered. She loved to learn and to craft, late night gossip sessions, music, and the beach. Julie was smarter, stronger, and more courageous than she ever gave herself credit for. A humble masterpiece of duality, Julie colored the lives of all who knew her and will eternally be missed.

Julie’s celebration of life is scheduled for Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 4:00-8:00 p.m., at Kutis Affton located at 10151 Gravois Road, St. Louis, MO, 63123. Memorial services are scheduled for Friday, May 13, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Kutis Affton located at 10151 Gravois Road, St. Louis, MO, 63123, with a burial service for family and close friends to follow. “

  1. Oh, JULES, I’m going to miss you as I miss your Mom and Dad. I still miss all our Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings in your family house when everybody was there – even Mark says he loved it. I bought a small tree to be planted in your name, and I wish I could water it myself every day as it grows. Sorry I couldn’t make it to the funeral home, believe me, but I know that’s just your body and your SOUL is already with Jesus – that’s what matters.
    LOVE YOU, JULIE.
