BILLY, MARK HARRISON

 

Born in St. Louis, Mo in 1955 and passed at home in Maryland Heights on June 17, 2022.  Loving partner of 20 years to Eileen (Young) Gibson.  Father of Michael Harrison Billy.  Mark is also survived by  his special friend, Sherry Billy, mother of Michael, and his best friends, Mark and Darla Knopf.  Father figure to Stephen (Emily) Savage and Richard (Jessica Karluk) Savage.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Harrison Billy and Marjorie (Guenther) Billy.  Dear brother of Jean Diane (Lonny)  Murdick of North Carolina, and Joseph Keith (Mo, deceased) Billy.  Dear grandfather to Ellie Mae and Harper East Savage and James Anthony Savage of Chicago.  Proud dog dad to Rica, his German shepherd.   Our dear father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and dear friend to many. Mark spent his career as a self-employed floor installer, the past 30 years with Reinhold Flooring.  He was a 1974 graduate of Lindbergh High School. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Arnold, Mo.  Also a member of the NHRA (National Hot Rod Association), and a former Cub Master in the Boy Scouts of America.

 

Donations requested to any of The Boy Scouts of America,  Backstoppers or The American Cancer Society. Visitation will be from 1 – 3 pm and service from 3-3:30 pm on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road.

    I can’t express enough sincere condolences for the loss of the love of your life. We know he is at peace, but it’s just so hard for us down here on Earth. My hugs to you during this very difficult time.
