  5. We are so sorry to hear of Joe’s passing this past September. Joe was like a brother to my dad, Edward Polansky as they met in the Navy. We will have a mass said for Joe at our Catholic Church. Please reach out to me. diward@juno.com

  7. Aunt Sandy and Cousin Elaine, I’m so sorry to hear of Uncle Joe’s passing. I just learned this morning and wanted to reach out to let you know how I felt about him. Uncle Joe was great! I have wonderful memories of him when I was a kid, and when you guys would come to visit on Sundays, or we’d come out to Affton to visit Grandma and you all were there. He was so funny and just full of energy and life! I’m so glad that all of you got to meet my husband at my mom’s funeral several years ago. Even after all the years in between, he was gracious, warm, and inspiring! I cannot imagine the sorrow you are going through. Please know that I care and am sending love your way.

One thing I truly regret is that I did not reach out earlier to learn first hand about the Badalamenti family, my family. I know Uncle Joe and Aunt Sandy traveled to Sicily many times to visit relatives there. I would love to learn about them, as my mom, Minnie (Dominica) said so very little about the history of her side of the family. I would still love to learn of my relatives. Please reach out to me at magsoulard@sbcglobal.net.

Thank you, and again, my heartfelt condolences.
