On Thursday, May 6, 2021. Beloved husband of Philomena Arnowitz (nee: Leisure). Dear father of Anthony and the late Traci Arnowitz. Loving grandfather of Natalie Schmidt. Our dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Mr. Arnowitz served as Alderman of the 12th Ward in the City of St. Louis, served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was very devoted to his constituents in the 12th Ward.

Funeral at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois, on Tuesday, May 11 at 12:30 PM. Interment J.B. National Cemetery.

Visitation Monday 2-8:00 PM

  3. Larry was a good and kind man whose sole purpose was to help others who were in need. He was loved not only by those in his Ward, but others in the community who were often recipients of his caring and kindness. Rest in Peace Dear Friend. Job well done.

  17. Larry was a great friend of many years and cared about this City – he was one of the best Aldermen in ward 12, did a lot of ride alongs with the police – who he backed 100%. He was one of a kind and will be greatly missed! So long Larry – Rest In Peace my friend!

Little did I know along with all of the laughs, I was also making a life long friend. Thanks for always being you- a true blue guy with a heart bigger than you were! You will be missed here on earth but I look forward to your “signs” from heaven. RIP my friend.
