In Loving Memory

William (Billy) A. Brooks

William (Billy) A. Brooks was born March 29, 1960 and passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at the age of 60. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. Billy was born in St. Louis to William E. and Mary L. Brooks. He is preceded in death by his father, William E. Brooks, mother, Mary L. Medlin (nee Neal), brother Ronald E. Brooks, and sisters Janetta S. Medlin (nee Brooks) and Thelma Jean Clement (nee Brooks).  He is survived by his siblings Dennis E. Brooks (Marge), David Brooks (Ok Cha-Kim), Brenda Brooks, Rebecca Turnbough (Rick), Teresa Starks (Eddie) and his step siblings Rick Medlin (Kathy), Sandra Radake (Leroy), and Paula Presler (Steve) and his stepfather, Paul W. Medlin (Jackie).

Billy had several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Billy had a love and passion for animals.  He turned it into his hobby by collecting eagle and dog figurines.  His hat, humor, kindness and gift for gab were his trademarks.  He was a music lover and collector of old records.  Billy’s was compassionate and one of a kind.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm with services following at 2:00 pm at Kutis South County.

He will be laid to rest at 3:00 pm at Park Lawn Cemetery.
