Wier, Julia M. (nee Gratz) 94, born March 21, 1922. Died Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at St. Anthony’s deGreef Hospice House.

Beloved wife of the late Stanley J. Wier.  Dear mother of Mary Ann (Thomas) Koziacki, Joan (Albert) Korfmacher and Joseph (Diana) Wier;  dear grandmother of Teresa (Raki) Nevels of Chicago, IL, Timothy  Morgan, Joseph and Julie  Korfmacher, Jennifer Sexton and Mary Wier all of St. Louis, MO;  dear great-grandmother of Amiri,  Seraphina, Ashanti and Amelie Nevels and Jamie Sexton;  dear sister-in-law of Alvin (Rosemary) Wier of Bay Village, OH and Vito Lombardo;  our dear aunt and friend.

Mrs. Wier was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church and a long-time resident of the Mary Culver Home.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS  AFFTON CHAPEL 10151 Gravois Rd. Friday, June 3, 9:30 a.m. to St. Mark Catholic Church for 10 a.m. Mass.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery.  Masses or donations to the Mary Culver Home appreciated.  Visitation Thursday, 3-8 p.m.
