  1. Wayne Was truly a good man, He made a difference in this world by being concerned About others, I am His nephew And I’m proud to say I Was given his middle name To honor him, and I also served in the US Army as he did. He was a good role model for me. He will be missed.

  7. I struggle to find the words to describe such a wonderful man. For anyone who knew him, anything I say would only be stating the obvious. I am going to say it anyway. Wayne loved with the biggest heart. He gave so much to so many. He touched so many lives. I know I am a better person just for knowing him. I thank God above that I was blessed enough to have this wonderful man as my uncle for 48 years. I miss you soooo much. I will love you forever.

  9. I’ve tried to type this so many times but I can’t even come up with the words to describe how much this hurts to see. I always thought that you had super powers and would live forever. I keep looking around the house looking for you in your chair and then I look in your room or wait for you to come out of the bathroom. There’s been a couple times I’ve walked around outside hoping to see you. It’s like a bad dream that I can’t wake up from. Wayne you meant more to me than anyone could ever understand, you stepped up and raised me like I was your own you molded me into the man I am today and because of you GREENVILLE just sounds funny to me but “GREENVIL” sounds normal. You taught me that’s it ok to eat mustard and crackers or put buttermilk on cornbread. We’ve shared happy times, sad times, laughter and tears. I hope to see you again one day. But until then I know you’ll be looking down on all of us. I hope that I made you proud because that’s all I ever wanted to do. I could just keep going on and on but just like what I’m going through all good things must end sometime. I love you old man now forever and always in my heart and in my memories
