Jackie Duffey, my Mom, said she was taking people everyday somewhere or visiting them in the hospital. She didn’t think she ever had an enemy. She was a very loving woman.
She will be missed by many.

I am deeply sorry to hear the loss of Mary. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and a dear friend to so many. She was always willing to help, serving above and beyond the call of duty. She was a devoted Catholic and always saying the rosary. She will be dearly missed by so many people

I had the honor of working with Mary for almost a year. She became a dear friend to me. We visited even after I was her nurse and she always had a smile on her face. Her eyes had a special sparkle until the very end. She was so kind and loved talking about her family. She loved her fruit snacks and strawberry ice cream. She was a truly wonderful person and will always hold a place in my heart. She lived a long and beautiful life and really gave purpose to what I do. I will miss our conversations my sweet friend.

We lived across the street from the family on Gresham Street many years ago. Wonderful memories of a lovely and loving Christian lady. It was our pleasure to call her our friend. Our deepest condolences to everyone who loved Mary.
Sincerely,
Marti and Roger Robards

Mary Wertz was a wonderful lady. She was a special friend to my mom, Jane Hart, for years at OLOL. We used to call them Lucy and Ethel. I am so sorry we missed the funeral. I was not aware she passed. God bless her. She was a joy.
