Waterman, Robert Doyle “Bob”

Robert Doyle “Bob” Waterman passed away on March 30, 2020 in St. Louis, MO. He was 83.

Mr. Waterman was born on March 12, 1937 in St. Louis, MO to his parents, Fred and Naomi (Mallow). Bob grew up in Maplewood Missouri. Following high school, he briefly served in the United States Navy and spent the majority of his working years working for ITT Blackburn (later American Electric) in Overland, Missouri. He married his beloved Anita in 1976 and has resided in Affton, Missouri since 1979. He retired in 1995 and dedicated his remaining time to family, volunteering at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church and being a good neighbor.

Mr. Waterman is survived by his wife Anita, daughter Wendy Lemke (James) of Odessa, FL, son Brian (Laura) of Litchfield Park, AZ, stepson James Small (Diane) of St. Louis, MO, brother-in-law Neal Parrot of St. Louis, MO, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his stepson, Jack, brother, Britain, sister-in-law, Joyce, and sister-in-law Jean Parrot.

Mr. Waterman will be buried in a private ceremony on April 7, 2020. In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, a memorial event will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Diabetes Association.
