Washburn, Lawrence “Cliff” on Friday, August 7, 2020. Beloved husband of Rita Washburn (nee Parrish); loving father of Linda (Bob) Stinson, Denise (Adam) Kavanaugh, Dan Freeman, Brenda (Bob) Rosen, Kelly (Keith) Haas; cherished grandfather of Jason (Vanessa), Julie (Chris), Taylor (Tyler), Jake (Maria), Bobby (Monique), Alex (Brandy), Skyler (Janelle), Randy (Bekka), Dylan (Maryna), Kellie, Stephanie, Justin, Nicholas, and Billy (Sarah); great grandfather of 15; dearest brother of Caroline Rauls; dear uncle, cousin and friend. Cliff was preceded in death by his parents, Truman Washburn and Lora Washburn (nee Purl); sisters Cleo, Ruth, Cappie and Lois; brothers Bobby, Tommy and Rudy.

Services: Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Thursday, August 13, 10:00 am. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Backstoppers or to Shriner’s Hospital for Children appreciated. Visitation Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 pm

  1. To the most wonderful father a girl could ask for you taught me to hunt deer and clean them. You taught me respect at a young age and you were so proud when I became a police officer and you and mom got me my first bullet proof vest for graduation. I will always cherish our times together we always celebrated our January birthdays don’t know how we both were 39 every year but as long as mom let us it was ok.You were the best BBQ er at the club and we enjoyed the Lucky 7 club house . We will miss you so much pop I love you with all my ❤. So glad your not hurting anymore and your in Heaven dancing with the love Denise

Cliff was always a kind, peaceful, fun loving man who gave everything he had for his family. He is at peace now and i know he is looking from heaven marveling on what a wonderful family he raised. His love will always be with you.
