Voss, Charles W.

Voss, Charles William , 89 years old, survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Voss (née Reuber), died peacefully at home on November 28th, 2018 in St. Louis Missouri.
Bill, as his wife called him, was a retired member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers. He was a proud Marine, an amazing storyteller and a friend to any stranger.
Charles is survived by his sons, Michael and wife Rene’ of St. Louis, Marc and wife Erin of Kansas City, Micah and wife Jenny  (currently stationed in South Korea) and his daughter Marlene and husband Danny of St. Louis. Four grandchildren: Alexander and Sarah of St. Louis and Savana and Charlie of Kansas City. Four step-grandchildren: Christi (Coleman) Swick of Imperial, MO, Carrie (Coleman) Thomson of St. Charles, MO, Michael Desormeau and Garett Youngs of Watertown, NY. He is also survived by his brother Robert L. Voss and wife Hazel of St. Charles, MO and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, Mehlville MO 63129 from 2-6 pm on Sunday, December 2nd. Funeral mass will be at 9:30 am on Monday, December 3rd at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 309 E. Hoffmeister Ave. St Louis, MO. 63125. Burial to follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Per family’s request, instead of flowers, please make a donation to St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in memory of Charles Voss.
