Son of the late Henry and Mary (nee Chott) Vonder Haar; beloved husband of 60 years to the late Florence Vonder Haar; loving father of Michael (Donna) Vonder Haar, Phyllis (Todd) Heller, Mark Vonder Haar (Derrick Haulenbeek), Lori (Joe) Trunko, Sherri (Charlie) Gang and the late Joseph Vonder Haar; loving grandfather of Christine (Scott) Prentice, Julie (Mike) Mattingly, William (Amanda) Vonder Haar, Grace (Ron) Herdman, Mason Vonder Haar, Nicholas Trunko, Brett Gang, Zachary Heller, Jeremy Gang, Alexander Trunko and Kyle Gang; dear great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Services: Funeral Mass Wednesday, July 6, 2022, 10:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church 4556 Telegraph Rd. St. Louis, MO 63129. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated and may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Visitation Tuesday, July 5, 4:00 – 8:00 pm Kutis AFFTON Chapel 10151 Gravois Rd. (St. Louis).
