Vonder Haar, Dolores

Vonder Haar, Dolores (nee Schwer), an Oakville homemaker and longtime parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021, of natural causes at the age of 92. A St. Louis native, Dolores was born May 3, 1929, to Harry and Helen (nee Klueppel) Schwer. In October, 1952, she married Robert Vonder Haar, who preceded her in death in 1965. From that point, she lived as a single parent raising their four children: Linda (Bill) Kile, Susan Vonder Haar, Steve (Teresa) Vonder Haar and the late Lawrence (Paula Fulks) Vonder Haar. She was sister to Wilfrid “Red” Schwer, the late Joan Schwer, the late Larry Schwer and the late Madelyn Riley (nee Schwer); and dear grandmother to Jessica (Mike) Labozzetta (nee Vonder Haar), James Vonder Haar, Jonathan (Stephanie) Zebre, Stephanie Beal (nee Zebre), Emil Zebre, Robert Vonder Haar, Paul Vonder Haar and Christine Vonder Haar. She is also survived by three great-granddaughters, Zoe, Dryden and Isabella.

Services: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. on  Friday October 22,  4-8 p.m. Then taken to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church on Saturday October 23, for visitation from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Massed preferred.
